Using the DeepShare extension means you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this extension.
License
DeepShare is an open-source project released under the CC BY-NC 4.0 License . You may:
- Use this extension for free
- View and modify the source code
- Redistribute under the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0 license
Restrictions:

- ❌ You may not use this software for illegal activities
1. Scope of Use & Authorization
This browser extension (hereinafter “the Tool”) is intended to provide users with convenient content format conversion, and is limited to the following lawful uses:
- Content independently generated by the user or for which explicit authorization has been obtained
- Public information not protected by copyright or in the public domain
Prohibited Uses
It is prohibited to use this Tool for:
- ❌ Copying or distributing copyrighted content without authorization
- ❌ Circumventing a target website’s technical protection measures or violating its Terms of Service
- ❌ Any behavior that may infringe on others’ privacy or intellectual property rights, or violate local laws and regulations
- ❌ Bulk scraping, API abuse, or other malicious behaviors
- ❌ Spreading illegal, harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
2. User Obligations & Responsibilities
2.1 Content Legality
You must ensure all content processed through the Tool meets the following requirements:
- Rights ownership: You are the lawful owner of the content or have obtained written authorization from the rights holder
- Privacy compliance: Does not contain any legally protected sensitive personal information (e.g., ID numbers, bank accounts)
- Content legality: Does not contain illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
2.2 Technical Use Restrictions
- The Tool will not actively crack or circumvent anti-copy technologies on target websites (e.g., dynamic encryption, CAPTCHA)
- Its functionality relies on lawful operations manually triggered by the user
- You agree to comply with all terms of service of target websites and bear the consequences of any violations
2.3 API Usage Guidelines
If you use the Word document conversion feature:
- Do not abuse the API service
- Do not share or resell the API Key
- Do not bypass quota limits through technical means
- Misuse may result in the API Key being banned
3. Data Privacy & Security
3.1 Clipboard Data
- The Tool only reads Markdown text from the clipboard after the user permits clipboard access
- Data is not stored or shared
- Clipboard content is used only for local format conversion and memory is released immediately after processing
3.2 Word Conversion Service
- Only processes content you choose to convert
- Data is deleted immediately after conversion is complete
- Encrypted transmission is used
- Data is not used for model training or other purposes

4. Service Terms
4.1 Service Availability
- We strive to keep the service running stably, but do not guarantee 100% availability
- Service interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or force majeure
- No liability for service interruptions
4.2 Feature Changes
- We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time
- Major changes will be communicated to users in advance
- Continued use of the service implies acceptance of changes
4.3 API Service Terms
- API Keys are valid for 1 year
- Quota is used within the validity period
- Unused quota upon expiry will be forfeited
- Refunds are not supported (except in special circumstances)
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 DeepShare Intellectual Property
- DeepShare’s trademarks, logo, source code, etc. are protected by intellectual property law
- Use in compliance with the CC BY-NC 4.0 license
- Copyright notices must not be removed
5.2 User Content
- You retain all rights to your own content
- Processing content with DeepShare does not transfer any rights
- You are solely responsible for the legality of your content
5.3 Third-Party Content
- When processing third-party content (e.g., AI conversations), please comply with the relevant platform’s terms of service
- DeepShare is not responsible for the legality of third-party content
6. Disclaimer
6.1 Content Liability
- No infringement liability: Developers are not responsible for illegal content processed by users through the Tool; all consequences are borne solely by the user
- Content accuracy: Accuracy of conversion results is not guaranteed
- User behavior: No responsibility for users’ non-compliant behavior
6.2 Technical Limitations
- No warranty: The Tool is provided “as is” with no promise of compatibility, feature completeness, or result accuracy
- Technical failure: No responsibility for data loss or damage caused by technical failures
- Third-party platforms: No responsibility for feature failures caused by changes to third-party AI platforms
6.3 Service Interruption
- Right to terminate: Developers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Tool’s services at any time without prior notice
- No liability for losses: No responsibility for any losses caused by service interruptions
7. Age Restrictions
- DeepShare is intended for users aged 13 and above
- Users under 13 must use it with parental consent
8. Account Security
8.1 API Key Security
- You are responsible for safeguarding your API Key
- Do not share your API Key with others
- If you discover an API Key leak, contact us immediately
8.2 Violation Handling
Violations of the terms of service may result in:
- API Key suspension or ban
- Service access revoked
- Legal action
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold DeepShare and its developers harmless from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms of Service
- Your infringement of third-party rights
- Your illegal conduct
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Applicable Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
10.2 Dispute Handling
In the event of a dispute:
- First attempt to resolve through friendly negotiation
- If negotiation fails, a lawsuit may be filed in the court where the developer is located
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and DeepShare and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
13. Changes to Terms
13.1 Right to Modify
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.
13.2 Notification Method
- Modified terms will be posted on this page
- Major changes will be announced via GitHub
- Continued use of the service implies acceptance of changes
13.3 Effective Date
New terms take effect on the date of publication.
